Review PPWR
For electronics and battery sellers

One device can create three files,
and no single number covers them.

A packaged electrical product with a battery touches packaging, electrical equipment and battery obligations at the same time. Each has its own register entry, its own system participation and its own representative requirement.

Packaging from €474/year + €150 setup · electrical equipment and batteries by manual quote

Timing depends on document completeness and independent registry and scheme review

An electrical product separated into packaging, equipment and battery compliance streams
Separate streams

Three duties, three evidence trails

Packaging, electrical equipment and batteries are assessed independently. We never present one registration as covering another.

Where multi-stream files go wrong

The packaging number is offered as proof for every stream

Electrical equipment and batteries are coordinated separately and produce their own evidence. Presenting one identifier for all three fails on inspection.

A battery inside an accessory is missed

Chargers, remote controls, lit products and bundled accessories routinely bring a battery duty that was never scoped.

The packaging tariff is used to price the other streams

Nothing in a packaging tariff table applies to electrical equipment or batteries. Those are quoted per file.

What's included

Included in the written scope.

  • Product-by-product stream classification
  • Packaging file scoped and priced separately from the other streams
  • Electrical equipment and battery registration information
  • Representative requirements identified per stream
  • Evidence register keyed to the stream that produced each document
  • Manual quote where an electrical or battery stream is in scope
How it works

Four controlled steps.

01

Map the facts

Record the entity, countries, channels, contracts and products relevant to multi-stream product responsibility.

02

Separate the streams

Packaging, electrical equipment and batteries are assessed independently, with assumptions marked for confirmation.

03

Confirm the written scope

Private fees, exclusions, external costs and client approvals are set out before any work begins.

04

Maintain authentic evidence

Official documents, filings, invoices and changes remain linked to the entity and stream that produced them.

Frequently asked

Are electrical and battery duties included in the packaging price?

No. They are separate files and are quoted after a human review; nothing is priced from the packaging table.

Do the other streams also need a representative?

Foreign distance sellers face representative requirements for those streams as well, coordinated through the Austrian electrical and battery coordination body.

Is registration for those streams expensive?

Registration and reporting with the coordination body are reported to be free of charge, while system participation is separately priced. Confirm both for your product range.

Can one review cover all three?

One review can map all three, but the resulting files, evidence and deadlines remain distinct.
