Why we built the site
One cross-border sale can involve several regimes and decision-makers.
A foreign business may need to separate the representative appointment, packaging licensing, electrical equipment and batteries, while also mapping marketplaces, own-shop sales and Austrian importers.
The site structures those first questions and links to primary sources. It does not replace the ministry, the environment agency, the coordination body, a collection and recovery system, a marketplace or legal advice.
When someone requests help, the EPR Europe team responds on behalf of the company operating epraustria.com. Any proposal, mandate or service is agreed separately outside the public site.

Publishes the Austrian waste and packaging framework and marks authorised representatives in the national register.

The electronic data management register operated by the environment agency, which records obligated parties and issues the register identifier.

Coordinates the collection and recovery systems, assigns the participant number and checks system participants on their quantity reports.
